Week 11

Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys have a very good defense and the best offensive line in football. They will get a good workout against the Dolphins defensive front. Miami is returning home after a three game road series and it will make this game will be no easy homecoming. Dallas is a well rounded team and is expected to push for not only the NFC East but they will be trying to win home field advantage as well.

Why the Dolphins could win

If the Dolphins can win the game in the trenches they will have a shot at pulling out a win against a team they will likely be underdogs to. Ryan Tannehill has the ability to lead the team downfield and the Dolphins arsenal of weapons on offense could be too much for the Dallas defense to cover completely. Lamar Miller might have his biggest game as a receiver out of the backfield as Miami will likely need to slow the Dallas pass rush.

Why the Dolphins could lose

The Dolphins defensive front should be able to push the Dallas offensive line but sacks will be a premium. The bigger issue for the Dolphins is their secondary. Dez Bryant has developed into one of the best receivers in the game and it’s likely the Dolphins put Jamar Taylor or Brice McCain on him due to the size disadvantage of Brent Grimes. They will both need help from the safety. If the Dolphins try to constantly blitz the Cowboys the Cowboys may be able to slow the Dolphins down with a solid rushing attack.
