Week 15
@ San Diego Chargers
My predictions are based on a game by game basis and we have to imagine that the Dolphins will likely be a little worse than 11-2 at this point in the season. That being said if the season plays out like it could, the Dolphins could very well enter this game against San Diego staring a first place finish in the division and a bye week possibility. Last season the Chargers got blanked by the Dolphins 37-0 and this cross country road trip won’t be easy.
Why the Dolphins could win
Miami matches up well against the San Diego defense but it’s still going to be hard to keep up with the Chargers offense who can score points. The Dolphins defensive front will need to get pressure on Phillip Rivers like they did last season and that won’t be easy. Miami needs to play this game well rounded offensively and keep San Diego’s offense on the field. It’s a game they should win but I’m not sure they will.
Why the Dolphins could lose
The Dolphins don’t play well on the West Coast and this game is going to be tough for them. They are coming off several hard fought games that can go either way and San Diego has an offense that can play against a solid defensive front because they don’t need to run the ball to have success.
Prediction
San Diego 31 – Miami 24
