Yes, the Miami Dolphins have to take care of Jared Odrick. Odrick knows the Miami Dolphins offense well and the tendencies of the offensive line. He has practiced against Branden Albert, Dallas Thomas, Mike Pouncey, Ja’Wuan James, and Billy Turner. The only unknown to him is Jamil Douglas. Odrick will be able to provide a lot of information to Jaguars coaches. While play calling and signal calling won’t be easy to dissect, the line tendencies is something that Odrick knows well.
In addition to his knowledge of the teams offensive line, Odrick never wanted to leave Miami and might be playing with a bit of a chip on his shoulder. With teammate Sen’Derrick Marks not likely to play this week, Odrick will be the starting defensive end on the Jaguars 4-3 defense. Last week against Carolina Odrick registered three solo tackles but no sacks. This week he will be facing another top left tackle in Branden Albert. Stopping Odrick will give Ryan Tannehill a little more time in the pocket and as Odrick is familiar with the offensive line, the offensive line is familiar with him.
