Miami Dolphins fans heading to London: What you need to know
By Brian Miller
If you find yourself with someone from the U.K. and need an ice-breaker to open dialogue, the weather is a good start. Londoners are opinionated about the weather and it’s a great way to start a conversation with someone you don’t know. In the U.S., “how’s the weather” might be met as a humorous antidote but in the U.K. it’s common.
Britain is an island that rests on the Eastern Atlantic to Britain’s west. The Gulf-Stream flow brings warmer temperatures to the U.K. making the winters milder than other European countries. It does however change quickly and sometimes with little notice. It’s not uncommon to have a clear day and rain, drizzle, and clouds later. It’s a good idea to check for updates often.
This week appears to be dry heading into this weekends game but again, that can change. If you are traveling around the country make sure you check the local forecasts as they can differ substantially. Here is a look at this weeks weather predictions beginning with tonight’s forecast.
