Bishop Sankey – RB

Bishop Sankey and Dexter McCluster are the Titans two top backs and they are pretty split in overall carries. As seen below in the Titans official statistics list, they are both comparable in yards and yards per attempt. McCluster has the breakaway ability but Sankey is the workhorse.

While neither player tend to light up the league or have really shined in any game thus far. Let’s face it 146 yards after four games is quite ugly but the Miami Dolphins have a serious issue with stopping opposing runners. The Titans know this and will do whatever they can to establish a running game against the porous defensive front. Stopping the combination of Sankey and McCluster is important not because they pose a threat but because it makes the Titans one-dimensional.

The bigger problem Miami will have this weekend will be stopping Marcus Mariota who is good at buying time and getting up field when he can. He has 7 rushes for 72 yards on the season.
