Jackson is going to be a head coach in the NFL next season. His time in Oakland was under a management system that was extremely flawed. Jackson made some mistakes while with the Raiders but he likely has learned from them. If the Bengals continue to win without Andy Dalton Jackson’s popularity this off-season will soar. As of now he is likely the top candidate for any team and it’s well deserved.
The question is really more about where he will go. For him it’s almost his choice. Jackson has been coaching since 1988 and has had jobs at the college level, the WLAF with the London Monarchs, and on the pro-level obviously. Since 2014 he has been in his current position and has made the Bengals one of the best offenses in the league. It’s now a matter of who rather than when he becomes a head coach again.
