Jaylon Smith – LB – Notre Dame

Injury or no, if Reggie Ragland is taken in the draft before the 11th pick the Bears will take a long look at Jaylon Smith.

Chicago had the 23rd rush defense in the league. While the Bears have some young starting linebackers, none appear to be the heir apparent to Brian Urlacher and there still seems to be a need at the inside of the corps.

From there, Chicago could use a shiny new quarterback and more wide receivers. With Jay Cutler at 32 and only Alshon Jeffery putting up more than 500 receiving yards (807) the Bears passing game demands something of an overhaul. With Goff gone, this could be a landing spot for Paxton Lynch, but may be a bit of a stretch for someone like Michael Thomas.
