Eli Apple – CB – Ohio State

How the Steelers made it to the second round of the NFL playoffs with the 30th ranked passing defense is beyond me. Regardless, they’ll need some corner help come draft time.

They’ll also need another safety as Will Allen is 33 and Michael Mitchell needs some help on the last line of defense.

The safety spot can wait so the Steelers should take Buckeye corner Eli Apple.

In two season with the Buckeyes, Apple made 86 tackles, defended 17 passes and recorded four interceptions. He was the defensive MVP in the Fiesta Bowl victory over Notre Dame this past college football season.
