Jared Goff – Quarterback – California

Colin Kaepernick’s charm has faded in the Bay Area and the Niners may be ready to move on. But that may depend on new head coach Chip Kelly. Will he attempt to turn Kaepernick around or look to the draft to find his replacement?

This is where the 49ers may choose to turn the page and take a potential franchise quarterback. If Cleveland decides their pass rush is a more urgent need than using another first round pick on a quarterback than Cal’s Jared Goff should be available.

Goff appears to be the consensus No. 1 quarterback in the draft and he showed off his arm and skills in the Armed Forces Bowl as he tossed six touchdown passes and threw for 467 yards in a 55-36 grounding of the Air Force Falcons.
