Paxton Lynch – QB – Memphis

With Chip Kelly gone and the team heading into a new direction under Doug Pederson the Eagles need to solve their quarterback issue. Sam Bradford is a free agent that the Eagles may not want to re-sign. Bradford was a Chip Kelly player and despite not playing all that well will still expect a much higher contract that his value. Of all the needs the Eagles currently have, quarterback appears to be the most glaring at this point. Obviously if they do re-sign Bradford this pick will go elsewhere.

If quarterback isn’t the selection here then it may very well be offensive line but at 13 there isn’t much value in offensive linemen. Is Lynch the perfect answer for this team? Probably not, but he gives the fan base hope and should he come in and produce, Pederson is off to a great start in his first tenure as a head coach in the NFL.
