Reggie Ragland – linebacker – Alabama

Wide-receiver could be an absolute target here if Calvin Johnson does indeed retire like the rumors say he is. The Lions have major offensive line issues, defensive line issues, and cornerback issues, but they also need linebacker help and Ragland is a tough linebacker that will improve the Lions defense.

Last year the Lions were one of the worst teams in the league rushing the ball and that has led many to believe they will draft a top offensive lineman in round one. It’s entirely possible that they go the free agent route to fix part of the line and if that is the case they can turn their attention to other positions of need. While cornerback is a need I don’t think they will pass  up the opportunity to add a top linebacking prospect to the roster.
