The Bengals are pretty well rounded right now but stand to lose a couple of defenders to free agency including safety Reggie Nelson. If the Bengals keep Nelson they will need to replace him in the draft. Defensive tackle is still a big option as Domata Peko has seen his production slide considerably. The Bengals could also look to add a linebacker or cornerback as Adam Jones is set to become a free agent as well.

The biggest problem that the Bengals faced last season was in the post-season where meltdowns led to defensive personal foul penalties that ended up costing the team a win in round one of the playoffs. With Jones likely gone and Burfict facing a suspension of three games to start the season, defense is likely the top priority for the Bengals this season.
