29: Arizona Cardinals

Keanu Neal – S – Florida

So close and yet so far. The Cardinals were embarrassed by the Carolina Panthers in the NFC Championship game and a good reason for that was very poor safety play. Neal is the second-best safety in this year draft behind Jalen Ramsey but the Cardinals have no shot at Ramsey as trading up would cost them a fortune. Neal was productive at Florida and has an impressive skill set. While it’s believed that he lacks coverage skills, he won’t need to do much covering at the NFL level but instead be a support role in coverage.

Neal also tends to go for the knock out hit and because of that he lacks the pure tackling ability that some teams look for but in Arizona that is something that can be taught.
