  1. New York Jets

Leonard Floyd – LB – Georgia

Hard to believe that the Jets won’t draft a quarterback here but Ryan Fitzpatrick did enough to allow the Jets to continue that direction for at least another round or two before drafting a prospect to groom. Defensively the Jets are very good but if there is a weakness it’s the linebacker group. Interior backer David Harris is getting old and his play has started to fall off.

The team needs to get faster on the defensive side of the ball and while they need to get some help on the offensive line, linebacker seems to be the early priority for the team. The Jets are likely going to restructure some of the contracts on the offensive line, most specifically D’Brickashaw Ferguson who has a big cap hit in 2016.

It’s also not out of the question that the Jets draft a running back here. They will potentially lose Chris Ivory to free agency which would create a need but it may be too high for the Jets this year and Todd Bowles is a defensive guy.
