  1. Kansas City Chiefs

Scooby Wright, III – LB – Arizona

The Chiefs are lucky in that they have a few needs. Offensive tackle, linebacker/defensive end, interior linebacker, possibly safety, and defensive tackle. None of these positions are glaring needs and will depend on who of their free agents they decide to re-sign. Scooby Wright would be that physical linebacker the team would need if they lose Derrick Johnson in free agency.

Wright missed most of 2015 with an injury but when he was healthy he was a very good linebacker with a combination of quickness and physicality. Wright has good lateral movement and is disciplined. In addition he is able to play both inside and outside giving the team some value should they need to slot players differently. The team will need to decide on Johnson or safety Eric Berry who will also be a free agent. While it’s possible they can craft two new deals, it’s also likely one of them will leave.
