ROUND FOUR

Scooby Wright – LB – Arizona

The Dolphins need to work on their linebacking group and if Wright is still on the board in round four as some predict, he would be a fantastic addition to the Dolphins unit. Wright still has some growing to do but he is talented and physical. The Dolphins won’t need him to be a day one starter and he will get plenty of time on special teams in year one and plenty of playing time on the defense as a back-up.

Round five

Daryl Worley – CB – West Virginia

Worley had a solid 2015 season and the Dolphins need more quality competition at the corner-back position. In 2015 he registered 49 tackles and 12 passes broken up.

Round six

Tyriq McCord – OLB – Miami (FL)

The Dolphins can’t stop waiting for Koa Misi to develop into a primetime player but they also can’t afford to draft a replacement early so taking an outside linebacker late in the draft to develop makes sense.

Round 7

Pick one

Denver Kirkland – OG – Arkansas

Yes, the offensive line is a mess. Typically I would think teams would draft players who could play special teams but Miami needs to beef up their line and in round seven finding another lineman to compete is important.

Pick two

Jarron Jones – DT – ND

Miami can afford to not address the defensive tackle position in the early and mid rounds but they need to add depth and gaining a developmental project at the position will help.
