SPECIAL TEAMS

There is not a lot of competition for the kickers this year. Matt Darr has no competition in camp but Andrew Franks does. The best competition this year will be for return duties where Jarvis Landry may finally be removed from duty.

K – Andrew Franks, Marshall Koehn

P – Matt Darr

LS – John Denney, Ryan DiSalvo

KR/PR – Griff Whalen, Jakeem Grant

It’s likely that Landry will be pulled from return duty and that seemed to be the focus heading into this off-season as the Dolphins really took a look at potential return options. Another spot to watch is at long snapper where John Denney is making over $1 million and is entering his 12th NFL season.
