Billy Turner

How bad has Turner been since arriving in Miami? I had four images to choose from the USA Today image library. Turner has been a “turnstile” but what’s really sad is that he still manages to slightly outplay Dallas Thomas from time to time.

Turner, like Thomas has struggled at the NFL level and is too inconsistent in both pass protection blocking and run blocking.

Drafted in the 3rd round of the 2014 draft, Turner was one of Dennis Hickey’s small school prospects that he drafted. Turner had a very good college career at North Dakato State University and his drafting marked the highest a player from that school had been taken since 2002.

On the field, Turner hasn’t been able to develop which could have been a product of the Joe Philbin regime who couldn’t develop anyone.
