Dion Jordan

$3.2 million

If released

$0 in dead money

$3.2 million cap savings.

The time has come for the Dolphins to rid themselves of Dion Jordan. Unless Jordan can find his way onto the football field in the last half of the 2016 season and make an impact, it’s time to move on.

Jordan has been an absolute disaster since his arrival as a 3rd overall pick and will go down in history as one of the worst draft picks Miami has ever made. What makes it worse is the fact that you can’t classify Jordan as a bust, because he hasn’t played.

Jordan has spent more than the last season suspended by the NFL and since his reinstatement last August has not been able to pass his physical to return to play after knee surgery.

The Dolphins have been very patient with Jordan’s off-season issues but there has to come a time when Jordan is no longer talked about in Miami.
