Nico Siragusa, OG, San Diego State

Branden Albert leaving town means Laremy Tunsil will be making the move from guard to tackle in 2017.  That leaves a hole at left guard.

Realistically an upgrade at either guard spot would be nice.  Jermon Bushrod wasn’t great last season and at 33 to start the next season he’s not getting any younger.

Nico Siragusa is an intriguing prospect because of the success San Diego State had running the football.  Donnel Pumphrey has been one of the best running backs in college football the last two seasons including 2,028 rushing yards and 16 rushing touchdowns in 2016.  Siragusa, a starter in 41 straight games, has been a large part of his success.

Miami found an identity last season running the football with Jay Ajayi.  Siragusa could fit right in and continue Ajayi’s success.
