George Kittle, TE, Iowa

Rounding out the draft, Miami needs to address the tight end position if Sims is gone.

Kittle wasn’t extremely productive during his tenure in Iowa City but he made plays when his number was called.  During his final two years as a Hawkeye he averaged 14.5 and 14.3 yards per catch, respectively.

Although a safe asset in the passing game, Kittles’ stats won’t pop out at you in the box score.  He can get the job done but possibly his biggest strength is in the running game.  Iowa has always been a run-first team and it shows in Kittle.

Pro Football Focus had a great piece on him prior to this past season.  It showcases his strengths in the running game and passing game.
