Nico Siragusa – San Diego St.

Siragusa is a real possibility in round three if he is still on the board when Miami selects when the compensatory picks begin. Miami holds the first pick of the 3rd round hand outs. Siragusa has a 3rd round grade on him and should fall somewhere in round three.

If the Dolphins do indeed consider drafting a guard a priority before the mid-rounds then Siragusa could be that target. The likelihood could increase if Miami gains another 3rd round pick.

Siragusa is tough and athletic and has the intelligence to stay at home and not over commit.

With all players there are of course downsides.

Ian Wharton’s take:

  • Overall strength is mediocre. Stood out because he was the only one getting blown back off the line on gap plays.

This is a problem for Siragusa but one that can be coached. His upside potential is far better than his downside issues Wharton points out.

  • Good overall player that can overcome many of his weaknesses. Will go long stretches without negative plays.
