Ben Braden – Michigan

Stephen Ross loves his Michigan guys. Wonder if he would have pushed for Tom Brady had he been the owner way back when?

Braden is a 5th round prospect who could slide into the late 5th round. The Dolphins have three 5th round picks this year and this could be a solid target for Miami.

Braden has the right size to play at the next level with a mean streak. Quick enough to make the pulls necessary as a backside blocker as well and works well with the center.

Ian Wharton’s take:

  • Great blend of size and athleticism considering his density. Athletic testing shows upside as a left guard in a gap blocking scheme.

Negatives:

  • Doesn’t consistently play to his size. He’s strong but not as physically overwhelming as expected for his build.
