If there was ever a banner year for first and second round picks then there is no question that the first two rounds of the 1990 draft may have been the best in Dolphins history.

With the first selection the Dolphins took Richmond Webb and with their 2nd they took Keith Sims. The duo formed one of the best left side lines in the NFL for the duration of their careers. Alongside future Hall of Fame center Dwight Stephenson the Dolphins offensive line remained a top unit protecting Dan Marino.

Alfred Oglesby was drafted in the 3rd while quarterback Scott Mitchell was taken in round four. Despite success by both players neither come close to the Dolphins top two of this year.

Who was the best?

Richmond Webb

This is an extremely close one because you could argue that both players were stellar because of the other. Still Webb remains in HOF talk considerations from time to time.
