The Miami Dolphins are continuing to make moves and changes to their roster but none will be more impactful than a handful made during the early stages of this years off-season.

Last Friday the Dolphins wanted to know what the best off-season moves have been so they reached out to the internet to find out. Voice of the Fan, a new feature by the Dolphins posted the question to Dolphins webmasters.

Our own Eric Frosbutter was one of the featured answers on the Dolphins official website. Here is how the rest of our staff felt about this off-season.

Dale Paul-Jordan

The release of Dion Jordan.
Dion Jordan was supposed to come in and replace the presence of Jason Taylor on and off the field.  It was the perfect match, the Dolphins, at that time, traded up to draft the best athlete in the draft, and had a glaring need for a superstar.  That glaring need, turned into a coalesce disappointment.  Jordan barely played for the Dolphins, registering stats you would expect from a 7th rounder or an undrafted free agent.  Adam Gase was smart to cut ties with the 3rd overall pick and clear the team and more importantly the looker room of Dion Jordan negative aura and  the dark cloud that surrounds him.

James Anderson

I like many of moves made this off-season making it a hard choice. The linebacking corps was in desperate need so getting Lawrence Timmons was big. But to me resigning Kenny Stills was slightly bigger. He was just one dropped pass away from tying Antonio Brown with the most TD’s of over 20 yards last season. And he signed a very team friendly contract. By his gratefulness in giving up the home team discount it keeps together a potentially dangerous WR room.

Jairo Crespo

Best offseason move is extending Reshad Jones. It’s too early to determine if any of the free agent signings improve the team or how they’ll function in the Miami Dolphins system, before pads come on. It’s also too early to determine if the rookies are going to make an impact. Reshad Jones is a pro bowler, one of the better safeties in the league, the focal point of the secondary, and has a contract that keeps him with the Dolphins for the next 5 years.

Mason Hicks

Drafting Raekwon McMillan.

Although Lawrence Timmons may be the best FA signing, Raekwon wins this title simply because he hits two birds with one stone. He steps in right away and serves as the teams starting strong side LB. Then when Timmons leaves the team, McMillan slides right over to his natural position at MLB. He brings great run-stuffing abilities and extraordinary off-field characteristics. His positional flexibility will be a key attribute to this team and will not go unnoticed.
