Everyone seems to think that this is the year that DeVante Parker breaks out of his mold. The team and many in the media believe that this is going to be a huge year for Parker who is supposedly 100% healthy. Finally.

But here is the deal. Parker has bad work habits and he doesn’t stretch the way he should. He says he has fixed that and put far more emphasis on his training this year in the hopes of staying healthy and getting better. As we all know you can talk anything you want but when you prove it, that’s when they believe you.

Parker has world talent and that’s why the Dolphins made him a first round pick. Now he needs to avoid the nagging injuries that have kept him from practicing the last two training camps. The Dolphins need to have Parker on the field and if he can’t keep himself healthy, he simply won’t be and this year will be much like the last two years. Good but nothing special. Parker has the tools and needs to be special.
