That number four is about to creep back into our conversation. The Bills currently hold the longest drought of a post-season appearance. It’s not even close.

17 years have passed, 18 after 2017, since the Bills saw the post-season. It’s been 21 years since their last playoff win. And here is that number four.

The Bills last four playoff appearances were all losses. They lost the divisional round in ’95 and then three more consecutive early exits from the post-season before they started their run of 17 years.

Their last playoff appearance even has its own name, “The Music City Miracle”. So close but yet so far. In the years since that playoff appearance the Bills have finished 8-8 three times and 9-7 twice and have not broken the two digit win season.
