Even though the Miami Dolphins preseason game on Thursday does not matter in the light of things, this is the first time the players will get to verse an opponent to prove their worth. Players on the bubble need to use this opportunity to show why they deserve a roster spot.

Now is the time for players to ball out if they want to make the team. Rookies need to use this game to adjust to the speed of the NFL. Veterans fighting for a roster spot must use this time to prove their worth.

The starters will play at max the first 3 series on offense and defense, so this game will mainly be used to evaluate the rookies and the depth of the team. What the Dolphins lacked last year was depth at most positions, minus quarterback and running back.

Last year their depth at linebacker, safety, offensive line, wide receiver, and tight end were tested all with different results. In this first preseason game, it would be optimal to see the improvement of players and overall depth of the team. Here are 10 players to watch verse the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday who will help improve the team in the 2017 season.
