Concluding with our coverage of the Madden 18 ratings for the Miami Dolphins, we end with the defensive backs and special teams.

Reshad Jones has an overall rating of 91. The only player besides Ndamukong Suh who has over an overall rating of 90 or higher. He also continues laying the boom, on the field, and in Madden 18 with a power hit rating of 90.

The newcomers at safety, T.J. McDonald and Nate Allen, have an overall of 76 and 72 respectively. Shocked to see that Michael Thomas has such a low rating. They haven’t watched enough Miami Dolphins games to see how vital he is to the special teams. 68 is too low.

Byron Maxwell has the highest cornerback rating with 85. Tony Lippett’s four-interceptions in his 2016 season has increased his zone coverage to a whopping 83, and an overall rating of 76. Xavien Howard, poised to have a huge 2017 season, is given a rating of 74. Third-round draft pick, Cordrea Tankersley, rallied in with an overall rating of 72 with good measures of press and man coverage.

Punter, Matt Darr, is a key contributor for the Dolphins. I’m not sure why Madden 18 doesn’t understand  this, but somehow he has a rating of 78. I was expecting at least an 80. Andrew Franks finishes up at Kicker with an overall rating of 75.
