Madden NFL 18 is weeks away, with the release of the game’s rosters and ratings, we get to see the new faces of the offensive line and running back units for the Miami Dolphins.

Picking up right where we left off with the quarterback ratings in Madden 18 for the Dolphins. Jay Ajayi’s breakout season helped most of his ratings increase this year for Madden 18. He is the 7th highest rated running back on the game.

Senorise Perry, who made it on the Dolphins roster for last years’ Madden, makes it again. Rookie De’Veon Smith comes in with an overall rating of 65 and Storm Johnson makes the roster for Madden with a rating of 67.

Although I don’t believe Damien Williams’ speed is equal to Kenyan Drake’s, a few of the other running back ratings are listed below.

Miami’s offensive line hasn’t been one of the best for awhile. Under former head coach, Joe Philbin, the Dolphins held Billy Turner and Dallas Thomas longer than they should have. It wasn’t shocking that the offense got better last year once Adam Gase released the two after week 5, along with Jamil Douglas.

Injuries have tormented the offensive for the last few years as well. Mike Pouncey and his hip is a recurring theme. Branden Albert had wrist injuries, and Laremy Tunsil nursed a shoulder injury last season. Jake Brendel and Terry Poole were also pulled up from the practice-squad to patch up the line.

As we look at the Madden 18 ratings of the offensive line, I know it’s game ratings, but it makes my stomach feel like the first drop of a roller-coaster. One of these years we’ll add quality depth.
