Dolphins: 5 Bills Miami must account for in 2017
By Brian Miller
LeSean McCoy may not be the running back he was in Philadelphia, at least he wasn’t under Rex Ryan but he has world class talent and the Dolphins have had problems stopping good running backs.
McCoy is one of the best in the NFL when he is healthy and that has been a problem with him the last couple of years as his treads start to wear out. His injuries are more nagging types rather than injuries that keep him off the field for long periods.
The Bills are going to try to keep him fresh, as fresh as they can but it’s hard to put a player like McCoy on the sideline for even a short series. Making him a bigger threat is the fact that McCoy is excellent as a pass catcher out of the back-field.
Linebackers are going to need to stay focused on McCoy when they play them especially as he slips out behind the tight-end in the flat.
