We all have our Sunday game-day rituals. Our bread and butter go to superstition that will almost assuredly convince the football Gods to let the Dolphins win. Each and every one of us love our routines and you should email me and let me know yours. Phinphanatic23@yahoo.com.

For the Willingham’s, I’m sure that Sundays are much different for Tavis since the girls have grown older but some things don’t always change.

"Tavis:  The best way that I can describe that I watch the Dolphin games, and all NFL games, is ‘with great intensity’. If the Dolphins are  playing my chair is right in front of the 50 inch screen. And I am very into the game. I read the Miami Herald, Sun Sentinel, Palm Beach Post columns on line every single day. Often 10-15 times a day just to read every article they all publish. I also read  PhinPhanatic (no really he said this) and anything else I can. For me, even though I am in Western Maryland, they are a local team. Autumn: Sundays during football season,  our household is dedicated to football. Being in Maryland we don’t get to see as many games as we would like but we make it work. We watch the NFL RedZone allowing us to keep up on all games and see any big Dolphins plays and touchdowns, we also have a laptop up during the Phins game with the play by play from NFL.com. We do our best to see all we can when we cannot watch the live broadcast. But when we are fortunate enough to see the game it’s on another level, chairs are pulled up to the T.V. You may be able to hear a pin drop during plays, the channel doesn’t change till the cock hits 0:00, and you don’t get up unless it’s a commercial break. It can be intense but I wouldn’t have it any other way."

Our stories as fans is sometimes similar and sometimes different. We all come from different parts of the Unites States, sometimes from Mexico, Europe, or even Japan and Australia. We are joined by a passion that we live out on Sundays and crave in the off-season.

Do you have an interesting story of how you became a Dolphins fan? Perhaps an unusual ritual you go through on game-days? Let us know in the comments. If you have an extrodinary one, email me at Phinphanatic23@yahoo.com.
