The Dolphins have some very good talent at wide-receiver and could have their best receiving group since the Dan Marino era. DeVante Parker has shown a lot of promise through pre-season and camp and Stills could light it up on the outside with Cutler at quarterback. Landry? Well he is still Jarvis Landry.

The roster gets good after Landry. Leonte Carroo still is not showing much but the Dolphins love his potential talent if he can ever find it. Jakeem Grant will get another season to prove he belongs in the NFL and then the final potential spot gets really cloudy.

Our first predictions for the final 53 included Drew Morgan but he is now being replaced by Damore’ea Stringfellow. Stringfellow has looked sharp this pre-season and should be able to secure the final roster position at wide-receiver.

Predictions: Landry, Parker, Stills, Carroo, Grant, Stringfellow

Outside: Drew Morgan but I would not hold my breath.

Cut: Trey Griffey, Rashad Lawrence, Malcolm Lewis, Mitch Mathews,

Tight-End: The Dolphins should be worried a bit about Julius Thomas. Many believed that he would find new life in Miami but instead it seems he is simply resting on his past history. Many question whether or not Thomas really wants to play football anymore. He has had little impact in pre-season and seems more comfortable going through the motions. He may just not be a good practice player. The rest of the tight-ends are predictable as well.

Anthony Fasano has shown his value in the passing game and with his blocking and MarQueis Gray is developing on pace. It could be the end of the road for Thomas Duarte however.

Precitions: Thomas, Fasano, and Gray

Outside: Duarte if Miami keeps four tight-ends

Cuts: Duarte, Chris Pantale

Current total: 14 players on the final 53.
