10 big headlines from Dolphins 2017 year

Bye Week blues
The Dolphins season was not going the way the team had hoped. Injuries were mounting, the IR was a who’s who and the Dolphins who had been displaced by Hurricane Irma was now set to pay the tab on that week one postponement.
As week 11 arrived the Dolphins were holding out hopes of trying to turnaround a season that was failing miserably. Miami entered the game 4-5 after starting the season 4-2. The Buccaneers would be the 4th team to beat Miami in a five game stretch. The losses included two shut-outs losses against the Saints in London, 20-0, and a horrendous showing in primetime against the Ravens, 40-0. Miami also lost to the Jets in New York 20-6 scoring their only touchdown as the clock expired.
Tampa, like Miami was also struggling and with both teams now missing their bye week, the bodies, bumps, and bruises, were taking a toll. Instead of recouping, Miami and Tampa played 16 straight to start and end their seasons.
