Charles Harris did not put up the number of sacks that Miami fans were hoping for. Far from it. Harris had only two sacks on the season and only 15 total tackles. He played in all 16 games rotating with Andre Branch, William Hayes, and Terrence Fede.

Still when Harris was in the game, he played well. Consistently attacking the pocket, Harris was able to keep pressure on opposing quarterbacks. He still needs to work on setting the edge against the run but there was improvement as the season progressed.

2018 should be a big year for the former first round pick and the Dolphins will rely more on him as he gets better. Harris is a player that Miami envisions for the future and while his stats do not show it, there have been glimpses of what the Dolphins can expect moving forward.
