Not much went right for the Dolphins on the offensive line this season. Losing Jermon Bushrod, Ja’Wuan James, Anthony Steen, and Ted Larsen didn’t help. Laremy Tunsil missed the final week as well. Miami however may still have found a future guard through all the chaos.

Jesse Davis emerged from an outsiders spot to the 53 man roster and eventually on to the field. Davis played inconsistent early but his play continued to improve the more reps he received. The Dolphins view him as a potential guard or tackle on the right side and if they are right, Davis could be the answer that Miami has been looking for to make the unit better.

Davis has a long way to go before he is anointed a full-time starter but the play this year has been surprisingly encouraging.
