New York Giants – Josh Rosen, QB – UCLA

Honestly I believe that when the draft arrives the Giants will be holding the first pick. Typically mocking trades is well, mocking the author. It’s gratuitous at best. But this trade makes a lot of sense for both the Browns who hold the top pick and the Giants.

A lot of what happens here is dependant upon what Cleveland does in the off-season. For the Giants however there is little doubt that quarterback is a position of need. The Giants benched Eli Manning towards the end of the season but then put him back in as a starter. It was a disservice to the veteran signal caller. In 2018 Manning may or may not be a part of the team but a rookie quarterback likely will.

The Giants should move up so that another team doesn’t jump ahead of them and make a trade with the wheeling and dealing Browns. Rosen makes a ton of sense for New York and it might be smart to sit him a year or half of a year and let him learn from Manning.
