4th round – 104th overall – Kyle Lauletta QB – Richmond

Many fans wanted the Dolphins to draft a quarterback in the first three rounds, but the way the board unfolded, they were able to target a player that really can develop in Gase system. Watch the senior bowl and you will notice that Lauletta earned MVP honors with throwing for 3 TDs and over 190 yards. He possesses all the raw physical attributes and just needs time to develop. Great project player that will benefit from being red-shirted and just learn and provides an insurance policy with some added excitement to the fan base.

4th round – 123rd overall – Dane Cruikshank CB – Arizona

This is another player that is on my man crush list. Cruikshank is a long rangy cornerback that can develop in the same mold as Richard Sherman. I know it’s a reach, but he has the same size and skill set as Sherman and he can develop the same way Tony Lippett has for the Dolphins.
