San Francisco 49’ers – LB – Tremain Edmunds
The 49’ers could also look at corner here as well but LB seems to be a much surer bet especially after the arrest of Reuben Foster on a domestic violence charge. The 49’ers took a risk with Foster but they are paying for that risk now. Edmunds is not much of a risk.
A high motor and excellent drive to the ball carrier, Edmunds has jumped ahead of Roquan Smith as the top linebacker in this draft class. Albeit a marginal one.
Edmunds is very good setting the edge and has great vision and closing speed. He is able to make tackles across the field with his speed and ability to avoid first line blockers. Edmunds is the best player on the board right now so the 49’ers have to take him.
