Arizona Cardinals – QB – Josh Allen
The Cardinals not only need a quarterback they screwed up and panicked in free agency and gave Sam Bradford $20 million a year for two years. Sam Bradford? The Cardinals lost out on the Kirk Cousins sweepstakes but who would guarantee $85 million of a contract over three years? Oh yeah, the Vikings.
The Cardinals need a new quarterback and the only way they get one is to overdraft in round one or wait until day two. Instead they could trade up and it is a good possibility.
Allen is the best quarterback left on the market as Lamar Jackson is the only QB remaining that draws a late first/second round grade. Arizona could probably get Jackson with their own first round pick but Allen has a lot more upside and early career potential.
