Danny Amendola

After five seasons with the New England Patriots receiver Danny Amendola is coming to Miami. It is a steal for the Dolphins who take a big part of the New England offense away. Amendola brings so much more however. He is a leader and he knows how to lead even in the shadow of a player like Tom Brady.

Amendola will help not only the receiver unit but the entire offense from Tannehill to whoever ends up playing tight-end. Amendola however has one knock. He tends to get injured and that could be a problem.

Amendola is not going to pick up the production slack left by Landry. He will help ease some of that loss but he is far more of a team player. Amendola is also very football smart and that insight will help those around him as well. This is the type of team player that Adam Gase loves. He takes direction, directs, lead by both example and vocally, and is willing to help those around him.

In other words, Amendola is a team first type of player.
