Did Miami Dolphins off-season moves bring “culture change?”

Josh Sitton

The Dolphins have needed to upgrade their offensive line for about a decade. The philosophy has been that guard was not valued enough to warrant spending good money on. That finally changed and Josh Sitton could very well be the best off-season move the Dolphins have made this year.

Sitton isn’t just a top offensvie guard in the league, he has been for several years. He is consistent and bullish on the field and a leader off the field. Sitton has already said he can’t wait to work with Laremy Tunsil and help to get better. He will also do the same with the replacement at center (more on that soon).

Sitton is a special type of player because he is an all about the team dynamic. Something he developed while with the Packers. He is unselfish and takes pride in seeing his work ethic and knowledge being applied to others.

The most important part of the Sitton signing however is that he will lock down the left guard position and give Miami the best guard they have had since Richie Incognito. Heading into the 2018 season the Dolphins offensive line could be one of their best assets. As we will discuss as this continues.
