Denver Broncos – QB – Baker Mayfield

There has been talk that Mayfield didn’t impress the Broncos coaches during the Senior Bowl practices but that doesn’t mean they don’t like the kid. Denver will entertain trades with both the Dolphins and the Bills and maybe the Cardinals but moving up may not be in the best interest of either team at this point.

With Mayfield the Broncos get to sit him for two years and really groom him for the franchise role which he will eventually take over from Case Keenum who signed as a free agent this year. Denver could opt for a defensive player here or even go with Quentin Nelson at guard to give Keenum some protection but in the end the upside of Mayfield is too much to pass up.
