PIck 9: San Francisco 49’ers

Quentin Nelson – G

The 49’ers could go edge here but I think it is a little high for Marcus Davenport or Harold Landry. At least today I do. That could change and both picks would make sense for the 49’ers but what they also need is a guard.

The 9’ers traded for Jimmy Garroppolo and gave him a big franchise quarterback contract so finding offensive line help to protect him makes a lot of sense. Nelson is the top guard in this year draft and many have him going as high as five potentially to the Colts.

If the 9’ers pass on offensive line then the Landry or Davenport would be in play as would cornerback.
