Pick 10: Oakland Raiders

Mike McGlinchey – OT

Like the teams in front of them, linebacker is a big problem and one area they need to fix. The Raiders will be interesting to watch becuase Jon Gruden is calling all of the shots now. He can’t be too thrilled that offensive weapons are not available to him here.

Defense however is what the Raiders need to add if they want to keep pace in the AFC West and they could go linebacker if one falls which I expect they will if that happens.

While defense is what the Raiders need, I think that Gruden will fix his offensive line to protect Derek Carr. Offensive tackle is a need and McGlinchey is the best in this draft class. This class isn’t deep with ready to start tackles so they can’t really afford to wait until round two or three. They can find safety and corner help as well as defensive line help later in the draft.
