Pick 20: Detroit Lions

Derrius Guice – RB

The Lions biggest glaring need is at running back. They have tried to piece together a running back unit but really lack a featured tailback. Guice is special. Not Barkley special but special nonehtheless.

With Eric Ebron out of Detroit the Lions could very well make any one of the top tight-ends the choice here and that would surprise no one but they thought they were drafting a franchise tight-end when they took Ebron 10th overall in the2014 draft. I’m not sure they are ready to take another risk so soon on another round one tight-end. Even at pick 20.

Guice will help the Lions offense and give the offense a much needed spark that they have been lacking. He will finally end the rotation of backs that haven’t been able to get the job done.
