Pick 22: Denver Broncos (From Buffalo)

Marcus Davenport – DE

The Broncos already filled their secondary need and it’s too early to add a receiver and quarterbacks are now off the table until round two at the earliest. That leaves DE as a top team need and Davenport, who I could see going earlier would fit nicely with the Broncos.

Davenport isn’t as polished as some of the other DE’s in the top of the draft but he will fit in well with a team that is typically very good on that side of the ball. At some point the the Broncos have to add an offensive lineman but the pickings are slim and should be much better when they pick in the top five of round two.
