PIck 27: New Orleans Saints

Dallas Goedert – TE

The Saints need a tight end in a bad way and Drew Brees needs all the help he can get. Goedert to many is the top TE of this years class and he is being mocked anywhere from the late first to the early 2nd round. He would benifit the most from Brees.

There has been a lot of talk about the Saints moving up for a quarterback but that won’t help Brees in his what could be his final two seasons with the Saints and maybe the NFL entirely. The Saints could use offensive line help and a receiver but TE is the top priority on offense.

Defensively the team could go with an edge rusher but there isn’t much at this point with better upside than Goedert.
