Pick 28: Pittsburgh Steelers

Ronnie Harrison – Safety

Pittsburgh continues to keep pace with the Patriots but they can’t seem to get over that hump and take them down. Ben Roethlisberger doesn’t have many season left and some thought 2017 might have been his last. Getting him help on offense wouldn’t hurt but the big boards are full of defensive players at this point and safety is a need.

Harrison should be able to fill the safety hole for the Steelers and give them a chance to shut down the Patriots offenses deep threates if they face them again in the post-season. It makes the most sense at this point in the draft.

Pick 29: Jacksonville Jaguars

Reshaan Evans – LB

The Jaguars are committed to Blake Bortles for now so getting him protection is a key. The Jaguars don’t have a lot of holes they just need to get better and more consistent. The derense stepped up last season as they should have. The Jaguars invested a lot of money on that side of the ball.

One area they do need to look at is LB and Evans is a very solid pick this late in round one. Evans may not be here for the Jaguars as the Steelers may take him a pick in front of them. If that happens they will likely look at improving their center position or draft a guard.
