PIck 7: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Derwin James – Safety – Florida State

The Bucs can go in almost any direction they want here. They have that many needs. Corner is a possibility as is Nelson to fill an offensive line need. They could also draft a top defensive lineman like Vita Vea and that would only be a mild surprise.

Tampa also needs to address the running back position and while they have little shot at Barkley they could surprise a few and draft a Derrius Guice who some believe could climb into the top half of the draft. I’m just not buying him being a top 10 pick just yet.

Tampa Bay will have a tough decsion to make here and I think in the end safety is the best option for the team as he improves the secondary considerably and he is a local product that should make the fans happy as well.
